Appendix A: What to do if a Problem Arises

Problem

Solutions

The power/prox light is not on.

1. Check that the power switch is in the ON

position.

2. Check that the power supply cable is plugged

into the interface cable connector.

3. Check that the power supply is plugged into a

working electrical outlet.

4. Check that the I/O cable phone connector is

plugged into the proper location on the

tablet.

The screen cursor does not move

when I move the stylus/cursor.

1. Check that the application is configured for

the proper stylus/cursor.

2. Run the test program to see if you get

coordinates.

3. Press a stylus/cursor button to ensure the

stylus/cursor is active.

4. Reset the tablet and restart the application.

5. In cordless mode, be sure that the batteries

are oriented properly and that the battery

contacts are clean.

The buttons on the stylus/cursor do

not work.

1. Check that the application is configured for

the proper tablet driver.
